After downloading the App, don't forget to login/create
your profile account and enable push notifications to stay up to
date on the latest happenings and important news.
Why do you need to create a profile: General Data
Protection Regulation (GDPR) does not allow us to use any personal
information that was submitted in the registration process for the
event. For that reason every attendee, who wants to be visible on
the event attendee list in the App (and being able to use the
interactive networking features), requires to log in to the App and
allow his profile to be visible (only within our App).
We recommend that you log in with a Eureka profile account (secure
platform of our App Provider Conference Compass B.V., externally
not publicly visible, see explaining GDPR link below), which you
can start by opening the menu on the top left of the App.
Alternatively you can also log in with your existing Google
account. Please upload a facial picture of yourself into the
profile, so that others can recognize you at the event. Also, make
sure you name your own organization (i.e. for ICAR Members = the
ICAR Member Organization you represent) and your country in your
profile, this will help others looking for you in the App...
For your information: We have entered an App cooperation with
Conference Compass B.V. (Netherlands) for the next three years.
This means that you will see this App upon ICAR 2019 in Poland,
then upon ICAR 2021 in Greece and also upon ICAR 2022 in
Switzerland, where you will be able to continue to use your profile
account that you establish this year.

download it before the event and try it out!
