AIRCOM - Call for Presenters and Reminder to Register for 2023 ICAR Congress

Dear ICAR Air Rescue Commission delegates and colleagues:

The ICAR Air Rescue Commission seeks qualified presenters to lead engaging presentations and interactive breakout groups or panel discussions for its Air Rescue Commission sessions at the Air Rescue Commission workshops at our ICAR Congress on Thursday and Friday October 19-20, 2023 in South Tirol, Italy.  The joint session on Saturday will be on “Climate Change and the Impact on Mountain Rescue”. For this day we are looking for good presentations about accidents and rescue operations whose causes can be seen in climate change.

Please see the attached Abstract Form and if you are interested, complete the form and send it to Air Rescue Commission President Charley Shimanski at charley.shimanski@gmail.com

We will select Thursday and Friday presentations based on the interactive nature of the proposal. We will contact all accepted presenters in August.  The selected presentations will be included on the ICAR web site.

Please also note that the registration for the ICAR Congress 2023 in Toblach (Italy) is officially open. On the website www.icarsuedtirol2023.org you will find all important information about the event. Detailed programs and social program will be published in the coming weeks.
