Regulation for ICAR Event Participation of Non-Members

  1. ICAR welcomes the participation of entities or persons who are not members of an ICAR organization (Non-Members) in its events. Their technical cooperation is appreciated.

  2. Non-members may participate in the sessions and meetings of the technical commissions. They have an advisory vote. The president of the technical commission decides about their admission.

  3. All persons from all entities must pay the basic fee to the organizers of the event.

  4. Persons representing sponsors or exhibitors do not pay any extra fee beyond the basic fee.

  5. Speakers who are invited by ICAR or by a technical commission do not pay any extra fee.

  6. Other non-members pay a fixed fee of EUR 200 or its equivalent in foreign currency for their participation in ICAR events. This fee is applied in addition to the regular participation fee. It is collected by the organizers of the event and may be used for covering general expenses. The president of ICAR may void the fee for individual participants in the interest of ICAR.

  7. Sponsors and manufacturers may present their products and services at ICAR events. The organizers of the event are encouraged to contact them and close agreements.

  8. Sponsors and manufacturers must not be allocated any presentation time during normal sessions. Exceptions must be explicitly granted by the commission presidents before they may be communicated to the sponsor or manufacturer in question.

  9. For the use of exhibition space and other infrastructure at ICAR events, there is a fee of EUR 600 or its equivalent in foreign currency for an exhibition space of about 10 m2, with table and power outlet. The fee may be raised if more facilities are provided. The organizers of the event collect the fee.

  10. Manufacturers may present their products at the meetings of the technical commissions. The president of the commission decides about their admission.
