Rückrufmeldung für Omni-Block 1.1" Varianten mit Seriennummer von 20050xxx bis 22304xxx:
Diese nicht mehr verwenden, aus dem Verkehr ziehen und an rock exotica zurücksenden!
 
Bei einer begrenzten Anzahl von 1,1"-Omni-Block Umlenkrollen und den dazugehörigen Varianten ist die Madenschraube die den Sicherungsknopf (Push Button) der Seitenplatte in Position hält möglicherweise nicht ausreichend gesichert.
Wenn sich der Knopf löst, kann sich die Seitenplatte öffnen, so dass das Seil herausfallen kann, was zu schweren Verletzungen oder zum Tod führen kann. Es wurde festgestellt, dass bei einer kleinen Anzahl von Umlenkrollen, die zwischen Februar 2020 und Oktober 2022 hergestellt wurden, die Madenschraube des Push Buttons möglicherweise nicht mit einer ausreichenden Gewindesicherung oder Kleber versehen waren, so dass sich die Madenschraube lösen konnte.
Unter normalen Umständen ist entweder die Gewindesicherung oder der Kleber ausreichend, um die Madenschraube zu sichern und dieses Problem zu verhindern.
 
Alle Omni Block 1,1"- Modelle die zwischen Februar 2020 und Oktober 2022 hergestellt wurden müssen zur Inspektion/Reparatur an uns zurückgeschickt werden.
Omni-Block Modelle außerhalb des genannten Seriennummernbereiches sind nicht vom Rückruf betroffen, jedoch gilt der nachfolgende Inspektionsaufruf nach den unter www.rockexotica.de beschriebenen Kriterien, sowie dem im Anhang beigefügten Dokument. 
 
rock exotica gibt außerdem eine Inspektionsmitteilung für alle Omni Block-Modelle heraus, die von 2018 bis Februar 2020 hergestellt wurden. Diese können vom Benutzer/von einer sachkundigen Person inspiziert werden. 
Wenn Sie die Inspektion nicht selbst durchführen möchten, können Sie sie zur Inspektion an uns zurückschicken. Die Inspektionskriterien sind ebenfalls unter www.rockexotica.de sowie im angehängten Dokument aufgeführt.
 
Wir bitten Sie als unsere Händler und Kunden zu prüfen, an welche Ihrer Kunden P54 Omni-Block Modelle verkauft wurden. Des Weiteren bitten wir Sie, soweit es Ihnen möglich ist, Kontakt zu dem Kunden aufzunehmen und diesen über den Rückruf zu Informieren. 
Unter  www.rockexotica.de kann der Kunde vom Rückruf betroffene Produkte anmelden und dem Prozess für den Rückversand der betroffenen Produkte direkt an rock exotica folgen. 
 
Die Kosten für den Versand liegen beim Hersteller. Wir bemühen uns die Abwicklung in der uns schnellstmöglichen Zeit durchzuführen.

the manufacturer rock exotica US has informed us about an upcoming recall of one of their items. 
 
Recall notice for Omni-Block 1.1" variants with serial numbers from 20050xxx to 22304xxx:
Do not use these anymore, withdraw them from circulation and return them to rock exotica!
 
On a limited number of 1.1" Omni-Block pulleys and associated variants, the grub screw holding the side plate lock button (Push Button) in place may not be adequately secured.
If the button loosens, the side plate may open, allowing the rope to fall out, which could result in serious injury or death. It has been determined that a small number of pulleys manufactured between February 2020 and October 2022 may not have had adequate thread lock or adhesive on the push button grub screw, allowing the set screw to loosen.
Under normal circumstances, either the thread lock or adhesive is sufficient to secure the grub screw and prevent this problem.
 
All Omni Block 1.1" models manufactured between February 2020 and October 2022 must be returned to us for inspection/repair.
Omni block models outside of the stated serial number range are not affected by the recall, rock exotica is issuing an inspection notice per the criteria described at www.rockexotica.de, as well as the attached document. 
 
rock exotica is also issuing an inspection notice for all Omni Block models manufactured from 2018 through February 2020. These can be inspected by the user/by a competent person. 
If you do not want to do the inspection yourself, you can send them back to us for inspection. The inspection criteria are also listed at www.rockexotica.de and in the attached document.
 
We ask that you, as our dealers and customers, check to which of your customers P54 Omni-Block models were sold. Furthermore, we ask you, as far as you are able, to contact the customer and inform them of the recall. 
At www.rockexotica.de, the customer can register his products affected by the recall and follow the process for shipping the affected products back directly to rock exotica. 
 
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the manufacturer. We will make every effort to complete the process in the fastest time possible for us.
