  • Born 1962, father of 4 children.
  • Mountain guide.
  • Retired Officer of the Gendarmerie Nationale, France.
  • Since 1986: Professional mountain rescuer, over 800 mountain rescues.
  • Since 2009: Director of the French Avalanche Association (ANENA, the national center of avalanche training, avalanche control and dog handlers training).
  • Since 2011: President of the ICAR Avalanche Rescue Commission.
  • Always been very interested and motivated in accident prevention.
  • Still practicing all mountain activities, certainly less regularly, but nevertheless with the same great passion.
