Helicopter Rescue at Very High Altitude: - publication by the ICAR MedCom and AirCom

Dear ICAR Air Rescue Commission colleagues and friends:

I am honored to report the publication of the efforts of an esteemed group of ICAR veteran high-altitude rescue mountaineers, pilots, rescue specialists, and authors.  The paper was published this past week in High Altitude Medicine and Biology.

I expecially want to call out our primary author Dr. Kyle McLaughlin for his efforts over the past few years on this huge effort.  As one of the co-authors, I can say that this project would have never been possible without Dr. McLaughlin's extraordinary leadership.

The Air Rescue Commission will work to publish a synopsis of the article in AirMed&Rescue Magazine when possible.
