ICAR Conference October 2026

First of all - Thank you for your participation!

Dear members and delegates,

The conference held in Innsbruck in October 2026 will go down as a success story in ICAR’s history.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Austrian Mountain Rescue Service team for their outstanding work, which laid the foundation for the event's success.

A big thank you goes to the participating delegates for their contributions during the practical day and the conference sessions.
Please remember that your active participation is the cornerstone of a successful conference.
Please also do not forget to share the information and insights gained with your own organizations.

We on the Board will continue to keep you informed about the latest developments in modern mountain rescue techniques throughout the year, and we encourage your active participation and collaboration in the various working groups.

On behalf of the Board,
Gebhard Barbisch
